Installing IBM AIX
For this integration to function correctly, a Unified Security Stack agent is required. Before proceeding, please confirm that it has been installed.
Syslog is the foundation for this integration. Unified Security Stack automatically parses and correlates any logs it receives through Syslog.
1. Set up your device so it forwards logs to a Unified Security Stack agent using these ports:
7016 TCP
7016 UDP
2. Enable log collector.
To activate the log collector on the host running your Unified Security Stack agent, use the instructions below according to your operating system and chosen protocol.
Run the command shown for your chosen platform
Copy agent installation commands for each operating system directly from your Unified Security Stack instance, under the Integrations section.
This guarantees that every token, identifier, and configuration parameter is correct and tailored to your environment.
